The discoloration of your skin around the under arms can be a major cause of concern to many. Reasons for the occurrence of such discoloration ranges widely; from simply an accumulation of dead skin cells, a sun tan of some kind (that is, regular exposure to heat), poorly ventilating your under arms or use of perfumes with the denatured alcohol as an ingredient in its formulation.
Simply follow the following steps to restore your skin color
Bleach you skin, or more correctly, re-bleach your skin with a cucumber. Simply rub a thin cucumber slice on your underarms or grate a cucumber and apply the juice under your arms. Do this once or twice daily for several days until you see change that is satisfactory to your preference.
Re-bleach your skin with a lemon.
Lemons are heavenly! They are a natural antiseptic, antibacterial agent and bleaching agent, just to mention a few of their divine qualities. To remove dead skin cells and lighten your underarms, massage a lemon block on the skin for a few minutes. Leave the juice on your skin for about 10 minutes and then wash the area thoroughly.
Re-bleach your skin with a Potato.
Unlike lemons, potatoes have a gentler anti-bleaching capacity. They are suitable for a more prolonged application when the desired change is expected to appear in the long run and not near-instant result expectation. Simply rub a thin slice of potato on your underarms. Do this daily for a few weeks until you see change that is satisfactory to your preference.
Re-bleach your skin with a baking soda.
Indeed, this is an aggressive ingredient to adopt and is only recommended for those who are impatient to see change happen in their under arms. Use of this product may cause slight irritation (or general irritation) depending on person to person skin tolerance. However, there is no question regarding its effectiveness in removing dark skin coloration. Simply mix baking soda and water to make a thick paste, scrub your underarms with the pasty mixture, wash it off and dry the area thoroughly, lastly, apply a petroleum based jelly on the area such as Vaseline. Do this daily for a few weeks until you see change that is satisfactory to your preference.
